Thank you so much for so many nice comments. The place and the wintersky did most of he job though. It really is a beautiful place, fortunately not far away from where I live. Todd, The 7s is more than 30 years old, I inherited it from my father. I don`t use it much now, after going digital, but I will always have it, using it occationally.

Thanh, the colours are like that sometimes in the afternoon at wintertime here in Norway. This was taken around 3 in the afternoon in January. Soon after that the sun is gone and it`s pitch dark until about 8 in the morning. Fortunately it is opposite in the summertime(sun goes up 4:00 in the morning and down 10:30 in the evening). About the photo; the only thing I did to this was cropping it, USM on the boat and some of the details, and Smart blur on the rest. Some adjustments in levels, curves and contrast too.

What a fine composition. Spectacular colours too. One might have believed there was much more manipulation going on to achieve such a picture, but your explanation would set one straight on that account. Terribly nice work. Keep it up.
